How long does the process take?
From topic launch to artwork completion: 4-8 weeks depending on complexity.
Do I have to buy the artwork?
No obligation to purchase. Contributors get early access and discounts if interested.
How are contributions selected?
Artists review all contributions and select elements that best serve the artistic vision.
What types of contributions can I make?
You can share photos (JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF, HEIC), written stories, audio files (MP3, WAV, OGG), music links (Spotify, Apple Music, SoundCloud), or any inspiring links related to the topic. All files must be under 10MB.
How many people typically contribute to each artwork?
On average, 50 people contribute to each artwork, though some pieces like our most popular works have had up to 60 contributors.
Can I see how my contribution influenced the final artwork?
Yes! Each artwork comes with a detailed story showing how different contributions influenced the creative process. Contributors are credited and can see their impact on the final piece.
Can I choose to keep my contribution private?
Yes! When submitting, you can choose whether to display your contribution publicly (with your initials and location) or keep it private. Private contributions are still shared with artists but won't appear on the public topic page.
How long before my contribution is reviewed?
Our team reviews contributions within 24-48 hours. You'll receive an email once your contribution is approved. All contributions are moderated to ensure they align with our community guidelines.
Can I delete my contribution after submitting?
Yes, you can request deletion of your contribution by contacting us at info@artinscale.com. Note that if your contribution has already been used to inspire artwork, we may retain a record for attribution purposes.
