Escaping Form

Escaping Form by Öykü Tekin is an abstract composition exploring the tension between confinement and freedom. Organic, fluid shapes in cream and blue interact across the canvas, creating a sense of imbalance and flux. At the heart of the image, a red circle appears to push against the edge of its surrounding form—evoking the act of survival as a physical and emotional rupture.

This artwork was created as part of the Survive collection and reflects Tekin's interpretation of uncertainty and internal struggle. The red element, in motion and seemingly uncontained, serves as a metaphor for resilience and the will to break free. The use of bold minimalism underscores the psychological themes embedded in the piece.
